We are back from our annual Disney trip with the Tinneys and came home tired and ready for a REAL vacation! The kids enjoyed their time with Mom and Dad as well as Miss Amber, (our sitter/ dates my cousin), who came with us. The highlight (or lowlight!) of our trip was Griffin's first haircut at the Main Street Barber Shop. He had just awakened from his nap and was quite disturbed at the strange lady cutting on his hair. I think he wanted to keep the surfer look! Ava had a ball visiting with all of the Princesses and with her cousin, Hendon. Here are some of our photos from our tourture, I mean, our trip....

Handley High Class of 1995 ROCKS!!

Here are the photos from our 13th year class reunion! Yes, 13 is right- basically, we never had a 10 but all wanted to get together so we just decided 13 sounded good for us. There was sadness because we have lost two class members but there were good times in catching up with one another. We missed you Chandie!!

I have the Kindergarten blues...

O.K. The time is upon us. Ava has begun her academic journey of excellence: Kindergarten! She arrived with fresh crayons in hand to begin this quest of knowledge at Briarwood Christian School. While Mommy & Daddy are somewhat bereft and Griffin is downright downtrodden, we know that she is in a good place in her little life. Life is not that complicated for her yet. She has so much going for her and we have some major praying to continue so that she will lead a good and true life serving our Lord and others for His kingdom. Please say a little prayer for Ava and for us as you read this. We need them! Thanks!!

After months of avoiding and people telling me to cut his hair, I relented and cut off a little snipet that was consistently getting in his eyes. Here are some before and after pics. Now he looks like a "real boy"!

Hendon Reunion

Each year we attend the annual Hendon reunion in Ophelia, Alabama. This year was extra special because we had a great new restaurant cater the event: Lakeside Marina! We really do have a great time with family from Idaho, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Virginia and Alabama represented. Here are some photos from the family time together~
