Here are some photos that we took during our recent Orange Beach jaunt with the Kaufmanns (UA Law School friends). The kids had a great time together and Tatum & I discovered that we have both spawned Hannah Montana addicts! What joy, what bliss...... We had professional photos made on the beach for the first time and I'll upload them when we get the proofs online. Keep checking the blog- seeing my numbers rise makes me smile!!

Zoo time!

We love to visit our local Birmingham Zoo! The kids and I decided to spend an afternoon there recently and we got some great pics. Enjoy!

Sips 'n' Strokes

The gals from Meadow Brook Baptist decided to drop their duties of kids and husbands for an evening of laughter and bad abstract painting (just from me!). We had such fun at Sips 'n' Strokes off of 280 in B'ham. Our instructor was actually an old friend from my alma mater of Handley High in Roanoke, Alabama. Small world!! Fun times with girlfriends are always good nights.

We are loving the pool this summer! We have started a tradition of PB & J's, chips and juice boxes for our lunch by the pool. The kids are doing great with their swimming. Ava did not have to use swimmies this weekend at all. Griffin loves to jump off the side which scares me to death! Life with kids: always exciting!

Vacation Bible School- Yeah!!

Welcome to VBS 2008! We are having a great time at Meadow Brook Baptist doing Outrigger Island VBS. I am teaching 4th grade girls and love it. I have a wonderful group of girls who love Jesus and serving Him! Ava is loving the K4 class (thanks Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Blakeley!) and Griffin is tearing it up in the Toddler class (thanks Mr. Chris!). Here are some photos of us this week... (yes, that is Griffin in his natural state- actually IN the play kitchen! The teen years will be so fun with him....)
